Prologue: UFO over Kowloon
It was a typical day in the life of a girl named Feng Yuanwei. Or maybe not so much, since her father, Feng Fa Guang has mysteriously disappeared a week ago, followed by mysterious UFO sightings. Feng Fa Guang was an archaeologist, as well as a cryptozoologist and a researcher of unexplained phenomenon. So it was rather coincidental that he was abducted by a UFO.
Yuanwei lived with her father, her aunt Mei and her pet parrot named Byuu in a rather cozy apartment in the suburbs of Kowloon, Hong Kong. Yuanwei was a rather ambiguous looking girl with short brownish black hair, slanted brown eyes and usually wore boyish, punk styled clothing. It wasn't unusual that Yuanwei was mistakened for a boy at times. Most of her friends at high school were boys, so she thought of herself as one of the guys. Yuanwei had hardly any female friends and was thought of as a weido to most girls, since Yuanwei disliked a lot of things that were consitered “girly” to most people.
It was rather strange for Yuanwei to have her father go missing for a week. Since Yuanwei's mother has went missing since her birth, Yuanwei's father and aunt raised her for 17 years of her life. She noticed how her aunt Mei has felt lonely with her brother Fa Guang gone missing, So Yuanwei kept her lonely aunt company.
“Here is some fresh food Byuu.” Yuanwei said as she gave her parrot Byuu a stick of seeds.
“Squak! Squaaaaaak! Seeds! Seeds! Squaaaaaak!” Byuu cheered as Yuanwei puts the stick of seeds in his cage and removes the old stick that was stripped of its seeds. Byuu started to pick away at the seeds happily.
“Are you okay aunt Mei?” Yuanwei asked as she noticed how sleepy her aunt looked.
“I had a dream about Fa Guang last night.” Mei told her niece. “I hope the UFO entities aren't mistreating your father and my brother.”
“Me too.” Yuanwei sighed. “Hopefully, the UFO entities are more advanced and civilized than humans are.”
“I could only hope so Yuanwei.” Mei sighed as she came over to her niece and gave her a hug. “I just hope Fa Guang comes home safely. I would be devistated if he never came back.”
“Same here aunt Mei.” Yuanwei said glumly. “Same here.”
“Let's change the subject.” Mei said, knowing it would only make her feel worse if she dwelled on her missing brother. “How has school been for you Yuanwei? I hope you've been studying hard and not goofing off.”
“No, leave that up to Mi Baegjo.”
“Mi Baegjo? Is that the popular rich girl that goes to your school? You know, the one you don't get along with.”
“Yes, that's her. Baegjo always wants me to do her homework for her. Also, when she ends up as my partner for certain projects, she leaves all the studying up to me while she chatters with her friends and admires herself in the mirror.”
“Wow, what a spoiled girl.” Mei groaned. “I hope you don't let her stomp all over you.”
“No I don't.” Yuanwei said with a smile on her face. “In fact, I hope one day she'll learn her lesson.”
“As long as it doesn't involve flying fists and kicks, I agree.” Mei said, smiling.
Yuanwei looks up at the clock and notices what time it was. “Crap, it's almost time for school to begin. I gotta go!”
As Yuanwei rushes to get her belongings together, Mei hands Yuanwei her lunch box. “Don't forget your lunch.”
Yuanwei grabs her lunch and heads out the door. “See you later aunt Mei. I love you. Stay strong.”

“Okay class, it's time to turn in your homework.” Mr. Lam, Yuanwei's history teacher announced. “It's due today. I hope you all didn't let video games interefere with your homework.”
A well dressed girl whispered to Yuanwei and told her to come here. The girl was obviously a well to do girl wearing a the pink cashmere sweater, a black leather skirt, pink pantyhose and black and red high heel boots lined with fur. Her long black hair was crimped and had a pink bow in back. She wore bright pink lipstick, body glitter and strong smelling perfume. Yuanwei groaned as she approached the girl.
“What do you want now Baegjo?” Yuanwei whispered in disgust.
“Oh my, like did you do my homework for me Yuanwei?” Baegjo giggled quietly.
“Yes I did. I even turned it in for you too.” Yuanwei whispered with a big toothy ear to ear grin on her face.
Baegjo was creeped out by Yuanwei's creepy smile. “Why are you smiling like that? You're like scaring me.”
“Oh, I'm just having a good day. There's no need to be worried Baegjo.”
“Oh, okay. Ummm, that's good, I guess.”
Mr. Lam now started to go through and grade the homework students turned in. “Ah, good job. Good...good...”
Mr. Lam was pleased, until he saw Mi Baegjo's homework. Mi Baegjo's homework was defaced with a drawing of a smiling anthropomorphic turd saying 'Tee hee hee. You smell just like flowers.' Mr. Lam was very unhappy with Baegjo. “Ms Mi Baegjo, what is the meaning of this?!”
As Mr. Lam showed the defaced homework to the class, almost everyone in class laughed at it, except Baegjo, who was angry at her backfired plan, and Yuanwei, who grinned silently at her drawing. “Is this some sort of joke Baegjo?”
Baegjo's face was red with anger. “That's not my homework. Ummm...errr....ahhh...It really like isn't.”
“I'm sorry Baegjo, I'll have to give you a zero on your assignment.” Mr. Lam said sternly. “I want to see you after class.”
Baegjo started to groan and pull at her own hair. “Damn it Yuanwei. I will so get even with you for this.”

Hours later it was lunchtime. Yuanwei pulls out her lunchbox and starts eating her meal. Her lunch consisted of barbecued pork buns, some spicy lo mein noodles and a can of Oolong tea. “Oh, I'm so hungry, I can eat a kraken.”
As Yuanwei sat down and ate her lunch, she was approached by a none too pleased Baegjo and her two friends, Una and Misa. Una was the fatter girl with the brownish plack pigtails and thick make up smeared on her ample face. Misa was the slender girl with the pixie cut hair and a pink poofy dress.
“Yuanwei, you jackass! You made me flunk my assignment.” Baegjo cried out in rage.
“Well geez Baegjo, you should do your own homework and assignments instead of depending on others to do all the work for you.” Yuanwei sighed in disgust. “I know you're rich, but if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.”
“But history is hard.” Una whined. “I mean, who or what in the world is Hieronymus Bosch? It sounds like a contageous virus.”
Yuanwei rolled her eyes at the ditzyness of Baegjo and her friends. “Do you guys ever bother studying for once instead of greasing yourself up on make up and ogling over hot guys?”
Misa took Yuanwei's back pack she laid on the lunch table. “I wonder what's in here?”
“GIVE IT BACK!” Yuanwei shouted in anger.
“You got to catch us first Man-lady!” Baegjo giggled as she and her friends started to run away with
Yuanwei's backpack.
“ARGH!” Yuanwei screamed as she chased the girls around the school. She went up many stairs and many floors just to try to catch up to her tormentors.
“What's the matter Yuanwei? I thought you liked a good work out?” Una taunted.
Yuanwei still didn't give up, no matter how out of breath she was. She still followed the girls around the school. As they got outside to the school balconies, Yuanwei caught her tormentors. “ACK!”
“Now, give me back my backpack!” Yuanwei growled in rage.
“First, say pretty please.” Baegjo cackled.
“Yeah, say pretty please, with sugar on top.” Una added.
“And syrup on the middle.” Misa added, smiling.
But then, Yuanwei's rage turned to concern when she saw a ball of bright light moving around outside. “Ummm girls...”
“What now Yuanwei?” Baegjo groaned.
“Did you poop your pants Man-lady?” Una said in disgust.
“Look! There's a UFO!” Yuanwei cried out.
Baegjo rolled her eyes in disgust. “You got to try harder than that Yuanwei.”
“No, SERIOUSLY! There is a UFO!”
“What's next Dumbo?” Misa giggled. “Did a hunky boogeyman enter your house and watch you sleep in your jock strap?”
“Guys! Come on!” Yuanwei shouted. “I'm not joking.”
“But UFOs are not real Dumbo. You should know....”
Before the girls could finish, a beam of light hit Yuanwei and her backback. “AAAAAACK!”
As the light hit Yuanwei and her belongings, the terrified girl vanished right before her rivals. Baegjo and her friends looked at each other in horror as Yuanwei and her backpack vanished in thin air right before them. “Oh my gods, she was like, serious!”
The girls started to flee the scene in horror as they saw the UFO quickly fly away. “ACK! Run! Run for our lives before it's too late!”
